Text Banking is a great way to get information about your accounts at the Credit Union simply by texting your questions. You can enroll as many mobile phones as you wish. If you have more than one membership at the Credit Union, nicknames can be assigned so you can more easily tell them apart. It’s quick and easy to sign up through the FPCCFCU mobile app. Note: Messages and cellular data rates may apply.
Under the My Accounts page, you will find the Text Banking button on the menu. Clicking that button will move you to an enrollment page.
After reading the description, you will move forward by clicking the “Continue” button.
The next step in enrolling in Text Banking will be to Assign a Membership Nickname. On this page, you will get the parameters needed for the membership nickname. After deciding on a nickname, that, by the way, is different than your username and login information, you will click the “Continue” button.
The next page will walk you through the Terms and Conditions of the Text Banking feature. Since this service is administered by a third-party company, this process is explained here. If you wish to continue with this feature, you will be given the opportunity to accept the Terms and Conditions of Text Banking and click “Continue” to complete your enrollment.
You will receive text messages when your balance reaches a minimum, which you will set yourself. You can set up the parameters of the limits and get alerts sent right to your phone. You can also set up alerts to more than one mobile device. This way, both you and your joint owner can take advantage of Text Banking.
You will be redirected to the Enroll in Text Banking page. Follow the directions to sign up for text alerts.
After set up, anytime you want to check the balance of your account(s) you can text 45247 BAL (for example) and you will be sent the balances of your account(s).
