Our Community

Located in Northeast Indiana, our members are involved in all aspects of civic and public life, including fire and police departments, judges and court officials, ambulance and emergency personnel, parks and zoo staff, social work, animal control, youth services, public health, nursing services, Coliseum personnel, highway and street employees, as well as non-profit organizations including museums and social service agencies, and private sectors in insurance, surveying and other services.

We participate in community activities such as the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Catholic Charities, Community Harvest Food Bank, Law Enforcement/Firefighters Memorial, Fraternal Order of Police, Francine’s Friends, Safety Day, Fort Wayne Professional Fire Fighters Local 124, Fort Wayne Police Department, Police Athletic League, and Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, and support local fund raising sponsored by the Allen County Sheriff’s Reserves, Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, Eel River School, Fort Wayne Firefighter’s Museum, Allen County Sheriff’s Department, Fort Wayne Turners, Fraternal Order of Police, Foundation Fighting Blindness, Fort Wayne Fire Department, Hoosier Buckeye, Fort Wayne Professional Fire Fighters Local 124, Muscular Dystrophy Association, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Police Athletic League, Riley’s Children’s Hospital, Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities, and United Way of Allen County.

A bulletin board in our Clinton Street office is dedicated to our members and their activities in all aspects of our community.

The Fire Police City County Federal Credit Union’s primary responsibility is to serve our member-owners. We attempt to provide the very best products and services possible. Educational Seminar	The credit union volunteers, management, and staff work to monitor member needs and respond with products, services, and educational opportunities to meet those needs. In addition to members and potential members, it is also important to “tell our story” to legislators, regulators, and the community at large. We place high importance on consumer education that helps our members achieve their financial goals.
The actions and direction provided by the board of directors and management since Fire Police City County FCU was founded over 75 years ago have laid a strong foundation. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Credit Union Team	The commitment to our members is consistent with our principles of “Not for Profit, Not for Charity, but for Service” and our philosophy of “People Helping People.”

Our membership consists of people from all walks of life, and many work for their community in the public safety and operational sectors. Our members care for their community and are involved as volunteers at the credit union and community projects. We work hard to be the best credit union for our members.
